Question and Answer 3

Question and Answer 3.0
It’s been a while since we last had a Q&A here on Monchocho.com (almost 2 years to be precise!) and just last week Lionpolice came up with the idea to have another one. This time instead of only asking me (Monchocho) questions you can ask ANYTHING to anyone from our team with a few exceptions. Yes, that includes Pen50gi, Dupple, Lionpolice, iCPBlog and of course, me!
Here’s how it’ll work: simply leave a comment with your question and the name of person you’d like to ask the question to then on April 6th the best 50 questions will be answered by my team and I. You can ask them ANYTHING except for personal information!
You have until April 6th to submit your questions. The answers to your questions will be published on April 12th.
So, are ready to ask us questions? On your marks… set… GO!
-Monchocho
Note>>  No more submissions to be received now.

New Club Penguin Earth Month Unlockable Bear Costume

Over the weekend, my friend Lionpolice posted on the blog about Unreleased Items on Club Penguin and in that, he posted an unlock able bear costume that was coming to the island. Well, this costume has now become available to us penguins for Club Penguin’s Earth Month. To obtain this costume, log in to Club Penguin, go to the ‘Unlock Items’ section and put in the code - BEARCUBS – check it out:

How cool is that? I love this costume as it looks so great on my penguin. Plus, for every costume unlocked, Club Penguin will donate $1 to help National Parks all across America as part of their Earth Month project – AWESOME!

The Team Answers Your Questions!

Q by Formal Dude: What where you thinking when you chose your name while making your Club Penguin account?
A: When I decided to join Club Penguin, I wanted my penguin’s name to be ‘Bubble’, but the name was already taken. So, I started to think of things that rhymed with ‘Bubble’ and when I thought of ‘Dupple’, it just seemed right so I chose it!
Q by Pizza Dough: What do you think of Club Penguin Takeovers? Do they bother you or is it just fine? Do they take away the originality of club penguin or does it make CP better?
A: I think that some of the Takeovers are a really great ideas and are lots of fun! Sometimes, I feel like the Takeovers can go on for too long (more than 10 days) and there isn’t enough to do in them so they can become quite boring quickly. I have to agree that they do take away from the originality of Club Penguin as I do love the older parties (Water Party, Music Jam, Winter Fiesta etc.), but I think that they do bring a fresh look to the game which is beneficial.
Q by Sabe2424: Do you wanna build a snowman? Also when did you first join Club Penguin?
A: Or ride our bikes around the hall? I joined Club Penguin on May 22nd 2007.
Q by Smiley 48: Why do you like blogging? Any tips to up-and-coming CP bloggers?
A: I like blogging because I like to help people in finding things about Club Penguin that they wouldn’t have necessarily known about. I also love Club Penguin and it it a great way to love the game even more.

cp :)

Club Penguin was founded in 2005 by 3 fathers wanting to make a safe online world for their kids to play in. In 2007, this global phenomenon was bought by Disney for millions of dollars. Ever since, Club Penguin has grown, and grown, and grown. Disney have really helped Club Penguin expand. If you want to find out more about Club Penguin's history click here, or visit the Club Penguin Wiki. CP has lots of merchandise, plush puffles and penguins, igloo playsets, even giant puffle beanbags! But there's one item which isn't in CP's mass collection of merchandise in their gorgeous office in Kelowna, that's LEGO. Club Penguin will be around for a decade as of October 24, 2015. We would assume that that it would take this project that amount of time to get 10,000 supporters and be put into production.

I present to you, the Club Penguin project, here with a model of the Town Center. The model has gone through quite a few versions, and the most recent will be up soon. Stay tuned! Puffles are fluffy ball-shaped creatures native to the island, and four (green, brown, blue, and pink) would be included in the proposed set. Additional minifigures also included are two regular penguins, aqua and purple, DJ Cadence, Gary, Aunt Arctic, Coffee Barista, and Clothes Shop Owner.

We've received lots of support from the Club Penguin community on our projects, even some from the Club Penguin team! We care very much for our supporters. That is why we will have special parties on Club Penguin, every once in a while, and maybe release a new project or two! We just one thing we need all of you to do in return... spread the word on Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, etc. and let your friends know! The more people that support the idea, the more chances LEGO Club Penguin could become a reality. Also, make sure to tweet Club Penguin staff members @ClubPenguin @PoloField, @Ninjachat3, @Daffodaily5, and @SpikeHikeCP about the idea! And of course, click that BIG GREEN BUTTON on the sidebar and fill in the necessary information! Yup, that’s all you have to do! It’s as easy as one-two-three. Remember: the more supports the higher the chances this might become a reality! So make sure to let your friends know and support the idea. Together, we can make LEGO Club Penguin sets a reality! So get out there, support, tweet, YouTube, blog, post on fansites, do anything you can do to make the Club Penguin community proud and get us a real set! Tweet using hashtag #LEGOCP!
The Town Center in-game.

The 1% proceeds earned from this project will be donated to some of the organizations Club Penguin donates to during their annual Coins for Change drive, such as the Wildlife Conservation Network, Free the Children, War Child, Partners in Health, and more. Each box could include a code to unlock a Red LEGO Brick Costume item in-game as well, making it a real treat for all Club Penguin fans! I hope you find yourself generous enough to support our project! And as Billybob would say... WADDLE ON!

This project is part of the Ninja Network, founded by Puffle Pal26 (Green Ninja) in order to make the community a better place with quite a few awesome creative projects. Also included in this new network are Club Penguin Dojo (cpdojoblog.wordpress.com) and Club Penguin Fanon Nation (cpfanonnation.weebly.com). Check them out!

Let’s Make Club Penguin LEGO A Reality!

Club Penguin LEGO
If you’ve been visiting the site for a while you would know that earlier in 2012 our friend @GreenNinjaCP proposed to create a Club Penguin LEGO set. His first project was a success reaching over 500+ supporters in a matter of days. However, for some unknown reason, his first project was deleted…
Green Ninja went ahead and created a second project –which to our surprise– was taken over last week by the one and only *drums roll* Spike Hike!
So why do we need your help? We need as MANY penguins as we can get to support the project to show Spike Hike and Club Penguin that we really, really, REALLY want this project to become a reality.  All you have to do is:

  1. Visit Lego Cuusoo’s website (click here).
  2. Click the green “Support” button on the right.
  3. Log in with your Twitter, Facebook or create a new account using your email to support the project.
  4. Spread the word on Twitter, Facebook, Youtube, etc. and let your friends know! The more people that support the idea, the more chances LEGO Club Penguin could become a reality!

‘Funny Hat Week’

Club Penguin Cheats
There’s a ‘Funny Hat’ event going on this week at the Dock where EVERYONE (including non-members) can pick up 5 hilarious hats and a free background for your penguin! To collect all 5 hats simply walk up to them and pick them up – it’s that easy.
Club Penguin Free Hats
As for the free ‘Funny Hat Week’ background, click the camera located in the right of your screen and pick it up as well. Don’t forget to smile!
Club Penguin Free Hats
That’s all for today penguins. But before I leave, I have to ask, which of the 5 new hats is your favorite and why? I LOVE the “Sleepy Head” because, well… sleeping caps are awesome! Especially when they’re oversized and cover your eyes. Right? Right??
Make sure to drop a comment below and let us know what your favorite hat this week is!

A Thank You Letter From Monchocho

5th Anniversary Thank You Letter
Psst… And make sure to come back Friday for party + contests details. I heard one lucky penguin may be taking HOME lots of goodies ;] We have to celebrate!

Snow Forts Updated In Club Penguin’s App

Club Penguin Future Party
Here’s something I almost missed: overnight Club Penguin updated the Snow Forts in their iOS app. You can now join team blue or red by standing in the stations and when you throw snowballs to the other team’s fort, it will slowly fall apart! How cool is that?
Special thanks to @Mario86385CP for letting me know about this. Thanks buddy!

WIN A Club Penguin Prize Pack From Monchocho!

Club Penguin Contest Free Membership
Yes, you read that right! As part of our 5th Anniversary celebration I’m hosting a contest over the next 2 weeks for one lucky penguin to –literally– take home a prize pack filled with some of my all-time favorite Club Penguin goodies!
The prize pack includes:
  • The Party Starts Now! CD
  • Ninja Vinyl Figure
  • One month membership
  • An exclusive letter signed by Monchocho
“So how do I participate?” It’s easy! And quite challenging. All you have to do is answer the following five questions and email us your answers to contest@monchocho.com. Using the names of the few people who answer all five questions correctl, a list will be generated and a winner will be chosen at random!
Here are the questions:
  1. When was Monchocho’s first post published? (Month/Day/Year)
  2. Who is Monchocho’s favorite artist?
  3. Name one of Monchocho’s favorite servers. (Hint: there are 2!)
  4. What happened to Monchocho on September 29, 2009?
  5. What was Monchocho’s first YouTube channel username?
And check this out: because it is our 5th Anniversary, the first FIVE people to answer all 5 questions correctly will be entered into the raffle 5 times! That means that if you are one of the first five people to submit all the correct answers you are 5 times more likely to win. WOOT!
However, because of shipping rates this contest is for U.S. and CANADA residents ONLY. If you would like to participate ask for your parents permission first because if you win you WILL be receiving these items to your home. You have until May 29 to submit your answers, winner will be revealed Friday, May 30th.
That’s all for now penguins. Good luck and thank you for #5YearsOfMonchocho!

Featured Fashions: Blast Off To A New Dimension!

In the spirit of the Club Penguin’s upcoming Future Party I came up with 2 outfits that are simply out-of-this-world for this week’s Featured Fashions!
For men I paired a galactic suit with matching sneakers (you want to keep it simply here, all white OR black) with protective googles and a tank of oxygen to protect the island from Protobot and because –HEY!– Who said penguins could breathe without oxygen in space?? Don’t mind the squid, that’s just a… um, I don’t know but it will look ADORABLE in your head!
Club Penguin Future Party
For women, I tried to keep it simple yet elegant and futuristic. While men are busy protecting the island, women should keep peace on Club Penguin by dressing and acting like a goddess (of love! That is). Any flowy dress and make-up will do as long as it matches your hair which by the way, should be bright and colorful!
Don’t forget your staff! That makes you look even more legit.
Club Penguin Future Party
So what do you think of this week’s Featured Fashions? Did I do a good job? Usually Lionpolice publishes this kind of posts but unfortunately he left the site a few days ago. Still, thanks for introducing new ideas to the blog Lion! I’ll keep up with as many of them as I can ;)
As for YOU, let us know what you think of this week’s Featured Fashions and don’t forget to tell us what you’d like to see next week by leaving a comment below!
