Megg and Polo Tweet

On Friday afternoon Polo Field tweeted a small sneak peek of the Beach during the Penguin Cup with the caption “Go Sharks! We’re gonna win the #PenguinCup !” (Excuse the poor quality of the first picture, Polo Field clearly doesn’t know how to zoom in :P)

A few minutes later Megg replied to Polo’s tweet with yet ANOTHER sneak peek of the Penguin Cup to “make some noise.” Check it out – FREE Vuvuzelas for everyone!

Interesting! So it’s not all about color teams anymore (I’m assuming). It looks like each team will have its own mascot! How cool is that?

DJ Cadence, More!

On Wednesday night Polo Field held a small Q&A on Twitter where he answered a few questions regarding what’s coming to Club Penguin in the next month and of course, himself. During the #AskPolo session Polo Field revealed DJ Cadence is coming back to the island this July with a brand new song titled “Best Day Ever!”
He also revealed the Club Penguin Team is working on a music video for it and gave away (?) what the title of their possible new music game is, “Sound Studio!”
Here’s a list of things you might’ve missed during the Q&A:

• The Penguin Band will be waddling during the Music Jam
• Rockhopper will be coming back soon
• Businesmoose is “possibly working on a new video” with the Club Penguin Team

How freaking cool is that! I certainly cannot wait to hear Cadence’s new song. I wonder “Best Day Ever” is solo or maybe another collaboration with The Penguin Band? That’d would be cool!

Cole Plante

Polo here with something new and different for you guys. As you may know, Music Jam 2014 is coming this July. So I thought of the perfect way to celebrate… by featuring some musicians here on the Club Penguin blog!
This month’s Featured Artist is an awesome DJ named Cole Plante. I’m a huge fan of Cole’s electronic/dubstep style. He’s an upcoming star who’s even played huge music festivals!

Now here’s where YOU come in… I’m going to interview Cole, and post the video here on the blog. So I need YOUR help to come up with some great interview questions!
I plan to ask him:
* When did you first start making music?
* What was the first instrument you learned?
* What was it like to perform at a huge music festival for the first time?
In other news… We thought it’d be awesome to get Cole to remix a Club Penguin track. He’s remixed “Gotta Have A Wingman” for this year’s Music Jam, and it’s amazing! I’ll share it with you soon.
